The book, Terrtorium: Dessins en Pointe de Metal, has just been published to accompany my exhibition, “Terratorium”, at the Musée-Galérie Carnot, Villeneuve-sur-Yonne, Burgundy.
A torrential rain storm and hail were the prelude to the opening of my exhibition, Terratorium, at the Musée-Galérie Carnot in Villeneuve-sur-Yonne, Burgundy! Nonetheless, lots of people came, were passionate art lovers and fascinated by metalpoint. What more could one ask of a vernissage?
My work appears in Silverpoint and Metalpoint Drawing: A Complete Guide to the Medium, published by Routledge/Focal Press in December 2018. The book is co-authored by Tom Mazzullo and Susan Schwalb with essays by Thea Burns and Carol Prusa.
In 2015, the Women’s Caucus for Arts Georgia was invited to exhibit at Lyndon House Arts Center during their 40th year celebration. Not only was I part of the exhibition, but I was delighted to find that my graphite drawing, Time Woven II, was used for the poster and invitation. Opening reception and Artist Talks were on September 10, 2014. It was apparently a hugely successful show.
