An on-line exhibition, Con-Fin-Arte, has been launched by MA Arte Contemporaneo, my gallery in Palma de Mallorca. I am represented by two metalpoint drawings in silver.
I am delighted to be teaching a workshop in silverpoint drawing at the MA Arte Contemporáneo in Palma.
Wonderful news - my metalpoint drawings are now in the permanent collection at the Berkeley Art Museum, BAMPFA, in California.
The book, Terrtorium: Dessins en Pointe de Metal, has just been published to accompany my exhibition, “Terratorium”, at the Musée-Galérie Carnot, Villeneuve-sur-Yonne, Burgundy.
A torrential rain storm and hail were the prelude to the opening of my exhibition, Terratorium, at the Musée-Galérie Carnot in Villeneuve-sur-Yonne, Burgundy! Nonetheless, lots of people came, were passionate art lovers and fascinated by metalpoint. What more could one ask of a vernissage?
I am proud to be exhibiting metalpoint drawings about the wonderful Burgundian terroir in the exhibition, Terratorium at the Musée-Galerie Carnot in Villeneuve-sur-Yonne, Burgundy from May 4th until October 19th, with the opening reception on May 4th, at 18.00 hours.
My work appears in Silverpoint and Metalpoint Drawing: A Complete Guide to the Medium, published by Routledge/Focal Press in December 2018. The book is co-authored by Tom Mazzullo and Susan Schwalb with essays by Thea Burns and Carol Prusa.
